Mohamed Bourouissa

$ 35.00

This monograph was published on the occasion of the exhibition Mohamed Bourouissa: attracteur étrange at LaM (Villeneuve-d'Ascq) and the retrospective of the artist's work at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris).

This publication, presenting archives alongside fundamental artworks, attempts to define a "Mohamed Bourouissa method" that consists of reworking the artworks from their first presentation to new exhibition projects and highlights the importance of drawing within his practice, which has so far gone unmeasured.

This book also contains essays by Alice Cherki (psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and writer), Olivier Marboeuf (author, poet, performer, and independent curator), Marie-Amélie Senot (head of the contemporary art collection at the LaM and exhibition curator), Erik Verhagen (professor of Contemporary Art History at the Université de Lille, curator and art critic), and an interview conducted by Hugo Vitrani (curator at the Palais de Tokyo).
